Takealot - Return issues - Useless Response

Hi There

I have a product the I have purchased from Takealot last year , This is a QBIT GPS tracker device.... I purchased this for the we being of my kid... A year has gone past and this device states "EXPIRED" I have contacted Takealot to find out whether this can be made active or refunded ... Point buying a R1100 device that expires after a year........ The reply was "Regrettably, we are unable to facilitate the return for you as the 1-year warranty for all products has passed as per our products T's & C's."

We sincerely apologize should this have caused any inconvenience.

My question is that when i purchased the device it was never stated that it would expire after a year? so only after a year i came to know that the expired device cannot be returned by when takealot already wont accept it because the year has passed.

This is really a ridiculous response...... that i recieved...

Re-instate the device or take it back... its useless now...
