Takealot return Failure!!!

I am very unhappy with the service is have received from Takealot. We bought an item in prep for moving into our new house, and opened the box once moved in only 2 weeks later, to find that our item was broken. No damage to the box at all, so must have been put into the box broken. When we logged a return we were told that our return was rejected after they collected the item, so now not only dont we have an item, but we cannot get a refund? How very very very unprofessional of you. The worst customer service ever!!
