Takealot return a total disaster

Do not buy furniture through Takealot. We bought a daybed (that we assembled at home) and collect it from Takealot because we work during the week. Two of the slats broke when my husband(65kg) sat on it. We asked that the replace the broken slats but Takealot do not stock the item anymore. They agreed to credit it if we re-pack package it in boxes. We had to de-semble it for return that was practically impossible. We logged the complaint in the beginning of February and it has been back and forth since then. They promised to collect on Monday. I had to take a day leave to accommodate the pickup. In the past we have had good service from takealot but this experience has been horrific
