Takealot repeatedly sent used and dirty items

Dear Takealot Team,

I am extremely disappointed and frankly horrified by my recent experience — for the third time in a row, I have received a product that is clearly used, dirty, and in unacceptable condition.

This time, it was a water dispenser that was not only visibly used but also delivered in a disgraceful manner. It’s become clear that Takealot is repackaging returned goods and reselling them as new, which is completely ********* and misleading to customers.

I am documenting this publicly so there’s a record of this issue that cannot be quietly dismissed or swept under the rug. I expected better from a platform I once trusted.

As of today, I will be removing Takealot as a preferred supplier and turning to local businesses that operate with honesty and integrity.

This level of disregard for quality and customer trust is unacceptable. I urge you to review your processes and stop this disturbing practice.
