Takealot refuses to accept return of broken laptop

I bought a laptop in Nov 2021, its still under warranty. The one hinge broke when I opened it at the office one morning.

I then logged a return after they confirmed it is still under warranty. The box I placed it in for the return had a water spot in ( mistake on my side). The rejected the return citing water damage. After many emails and even more phone calls trying to explain the reason for the return, their judge and jury or as they called it a Team Leader again rejected it as a final outcome.

There is now fairness as you are at the mercy of this team leader whom will not contact me himself and would also not listen to reason. Takealot uses cheap ways to get out of refunding or replacing defective items!!
