TakeAlot refuses refunds against CPA

TakeALot refused a return for a Ryobi Chainsaw for which the universal battery which we had did not fit due to the box being opened.

There is no way to determine whether the battery would fit without opening the box.

The item was completely unused and returned in the original packaging.

The refund refusal is also not in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act

Queries from the refund team were also unfruitful.

I will not buy from TakeAlot again where there is a different option. Rather buy at Builders Warehouse where returns and exchanges are handled professionally.
