Takealot refusal to collect a defective item

Reference: MRRN-AAJDP-MERD ORDER NO: ***. This review deserves a NO STAR! Hardly a month. the remote is not working. Reported the remote defectiveness. Takealot advices that the TV must come also. Why? a remote is an accessory and one that is defective for now. Why must I and my family be inconvenienced by their ridiculous rules and it's supplier providing and selling defective goods. Just replace the remote. There must be more where it came from... don't need to violate my right as a paying customer for dishonesty and shady dealings to your customers. Where was this rule communicated to me? Just replace the damn remote.
