Takealot refund issued as expiring voucher

I returned an item to Takealot and was expecting a refund as account credit or to my original payment method. Instead, I was told I will receive an expiring voucher, which I did not agree to. A voucher with an expiry limits access to my own money and was not clearly communicated during the return process. I am requesting a non expiring account credit or a refund to the original payment method.
