Takealot purchase is defective.

i bought a gemerator which was promised to be delived on a certain date, it was only delivered 2 days later, i follwed the instructions acordingly and everything seemd to be fine. i used the generator only 3 times during load shedding and on the 3rd time it swithed off while in use and refused to start again. i logged a return for it to be replaced and recieved an SMS that it will be collected. its been over 2 days and i am still waiting for it to be picked up, i just recieved a reference number RRN-08ac-488a but have heard nothing since.
