Takealot provides worthless 'Guarantees'. Be wary of their delivery

I ordered something on Takealot and selected the more expensive 'Guaranteed Saturday Delivery' option. This 'Guarantes' that the package will arrive between 8AM and 2PM. It's now 3PM and I have no package, and no indication when it will be delivered. After contacting the support line, I was told that I can be given no indication of WHEN the package will arrive or even IF the package will arrive.

I have somewhere to be and was relying on Takealot delivering by 2PM. Why does Takealot provide guarantees they can't keep? They are very quick and efficient at taking your money, but can't deliver on their promises. Try Loot.co.za instead. I've never had an issue with their delivery. In retrospect, I should have ordered from them instead.
