Takealot plays courier to financial services industry with disregard for protocol

Got a call from Takealot informing me that they are the FNB parter that will be delivering my new cheque card. The caller had me confirm my address and then informed me that my card will be delivered to me PERSONALLY on Mon, 3 Feb 2020 and that I must provide positive ID upon receipt. Was asked if I had any questions, and I said yes, we live in a gated community. Will the driver be able to call me once at the gate, as our house is very close to the gate. It was affirmed that the driver is able to. Then, on Fri 31 Jan 2020, my wife walks into the house and gives me my parcel containing my card, which had been left with the security personnel at the gate earlier in the day!!! On the package, it is clearly marked that positive ID is required and that I was to be phoned. Maybe Takealot should stick to selling and delivering toothbrushes and the likes and leave financial services-related courier services to the guys who understand FICA adherence. Bear in mind, the pin number is included with the card.
