Takealot phones blacklisted

My husband and I bought phones (Samsung A25) from Takealot in July 2024 from Supplier D House. We used our phones with new problems, until Jan 2026. Suddenly my phones stopped working just to find out from Vodacom that my phone had been blacklisted. I went to the Police to do a statement and returned to Vodacom with my proof of purchase etc. to have the phone unblack listed. A month went by and still my phone was blacklisted and then suddenly my husband phone also was blacklisted in the beginning of February 2026. We sent the phones back to Takealot on the 6th of February and the phone has been in transit to the supplier since the 10th of February. And now to come and find out when the devised arrives at the supplier they have 21 days to conclude this matter. Now me and my husband have to be punished for this as the devised are older then 6 months. No **** it is older then 6 months we planned on using it for much longer if ***** was not something that happened to the phones. The devices were either ****** devices that the supplier then sold or a *****ulent insurance claim was made in my opinion, I could be wrong. I will advise no one to buy phones from Takealot as this is something that can happen and then you have to struggle to get your money back. I am very disappointed and highly frustrated.
