Takealot Pathetic Service- Will never purchase from your site again!

At 1.56am on 23 Nov I attempted to purchase the samsonite NCS Auva 3 piece luggage set at R2499. I could not check out the cart as there were system errors. At 6am I tried again and the price was R3999. I could not check out at the final step before payment due to 404 error. And the second time I tried it said payment failed yet I did not even get to the stage to enter my credit card details. I contacted the takelot call centre and I requested this issue to be escalated. I was informed that I must purchase the deal at the price of R3999 even though the issue to check out the cart was a takelot problem- the price will not be matched. Here is the feedback: I have also been notified that the credit card system has been deactivated since the early hours of today We sincerely apologise that the events took place in this manner and would not want it to happen to you or anyone else in the future.

Takelot- I will never purchase anything from your website again. Whilst you admit to system challenges, the least you could do is match the price of the deal as I was inconvenienced by your system inefficiency!!!
