Takealot- Pathetic Service

I ordered a stove from Takealot and the item delivered was not what I had ordered. I contacted them telephonically and explained that I desperately need a stove and am okay with keeping what was delivered so long as they refund the credit due to me. (Difference in price of the 2 stoves)

The consultant on the phone said it was fine and she cancelled the return. However the next morning I see an email from them saying that if I use the stove then they will not be held liable for anything that goes wrong with it.

I explained over email that I had already used the stove and I don't have the original packaging. They rep**** saying it is fine and i need to send it back-so they logged another return.

Takealot then rejected my evaluation on the basis that the stove was used and packaging was missing (obviously as i stated this i9n my email to them)

So they now want to send the same stove back to me without any packaging, but I haven't received a response of when the stove will be delivered. The last correspondence states that they are checking with the warehouse.

This whole dilemma has been goin on over 3 weeks now and I still do not have a stove to use which was urgently required in my house.

No one is willing to assist further and everything I speak to a different agent and they always start respond to email on a new email thread with a new consultant.

I am so frustrated, I do not know who to contact next.
