TAKEALOT PATHETIC COURIER SERVICE

I placed collection order from Takealot. My order date was estimated for Monday 18 December 2023 but was not ready. On 19 December I got a mail saying that my order was ready but when I checked I noticed it was only half of my order and that my pool I ordered for my kids was not yet ready for collection even though I placed my whole order on one order, 20min later I get another mail saying that my delivery has been rescheduled for Wednesday before 5pm. On the morning of my collection date, I get a mail saying that my order has been lost in transit and that they have placed a new order for me but estimated delivery date is only 8th January 2024. I ordered this pool for my kids for Christmas but now I won't even have a pool for new year. Pathetic service with no

they show no sympathy and cannot make alternative arrangements for me to receive my order sooner even though I have already waited a week and now I am expected to waite another 3 weeks for my order. When I complained they wanted me to refund but refund will take up to 2-3 days so what am I supposed to do. They have stock of this item in Cape Town but when I offered to collect my order at the warehouse to avoid couriers, they said they cannot do so.

I am disappointed for the fact that I am the only 1 trying to make an effort to get my order but they are not worried and show no empathy towards my situation.
