Takealot order cancellation

I accidentally ordered the wrong product and wanted to cancel the order immediately afterwards but I was informed by one of there customer support members that I have to wait for the package to be delivered before I can send it back for a refund even though the package has not left there warehouse. This is a big waste of time.
