Takealot Order #***

Good day,

I have ordered things from Takealot and they did not have them in stock then communicated to say they will be delivered late because which i did not have a problem with. Then they said it will be delivered on the 2nd May 2024 but late on the 30 April a message came through to say they will deliver on the 1st and not 2nd as previously communicated unfortunately then i was already away from my place as the 1st was a holiday, they sent the courier i then asked him to wait at the gate as i was still calling a neighbor to collect for me, to my surprise the courier guy decided to leave without even saying. The next day 2nd may they sent a courier again he tried to call me but maybe because of network in Randfontein the call could not get through, i then called the guy back and he told me to contact takealot and just moments later i received a message to say the goods has been taken back to takealot.

I am really not happy with the service as it is mentioned that their deliveries are done until 5PM but the parcel was sent back very early in the day of planned delivery.
