Takealot - oops forgot half your order
We ordered a package from Takealot and it was relayed to us that it will be delivered Saturday 7 November. We waited eagerly but nobody arrived. At approx 20:35 we received an SMS that nobody was home. The delivery was rescheduled for today. Eventually the guy pitched with only some of the goods. When asked where is the rest the reply was that he forgot them. What kind of an operation is run like this? First lies about us not being home, now forgetting half the order? The call centre people at Takealot really tried to help but nothing happens. This is dissapointing. Since Takealot started using their new couriers things really started going south. Order no ***7.

09 Dec 2019, 19:21Update = at about 19:00 we received a SMS to say they couldn't deliver because we were not at home - we were, and nobody was here. More lying, pulling the same trick as on Saturday evening. I spoke to 4 call centre agents between yesterday and just a few minutes ago (details available on request) all promising the to get back to me. I tried engaging with Takealot on Facebook - really friendly but no solutions, just more "we'll get back to you".
