Takealot of money

I bought and paid an Ecoflow River pro 720wh portable power station from Takealot on 03.09.2023. The delivery date set by them was 12.09.2023. I started calling once a day to check where my delivery was. Each day someone said they will follow up with the Warehouse, the Supplier is out of stock, the item was on its way to the Warehouse, the warehouse is not responding and today they canceled the order because the Supplier doesn't have any stock. This would be regarded as lying to your customers.

I showed them emails of other Suppliers also selling this item at the same cost as theirs. I told them I wanted this for the rugby world cup, so I can watch all the games. I pleaded with them to tell me the truth so I can purchased the item elsewhere. Today they want

Today they gave me credit and say the Supplier did not have stock. This is unfair. Surely it did not take 15 days to figure out your Supplier does not have stock. Why advertise at all ? And check their website the item is still being advertised.

And worse of all this is not the first time this has happened. Previously they also took my money, waited for the price to increase and say our Supplier doesn't have stock. This is a ploy. They keep your money and weeks later when all the Specials are done and rhen say they can't supply.
