Takealot of effort

This is the second time in the last 12 months that Takealot.com has been true to their word. They take a lot of your time.

I ordered on the 18th of May. Delivery due on the 27th of May. My first query about my order went in on the 2nd of June, the second query on the 5th of June.

On the 8th of June I received half my order, the package in a very poor state. The packaging is squashed and the contents were supposed to be a present. I cannot give someone a present without being sure the contents survived after being used as a seat cushion, punching bag or car jack. I expect more from Takealot. I've been using Takealot and Kalahari for 15 years, but in the last year I've had two forgetful experiences. It appears that you are better off buying from smaller retailers who offer better service than using the convenience of Takealot's broad offering.
