takealot of bull

On the 23rd of February 2022 I ordered two items. One Xbox 360 controller and one power supply (also for the Xbox). Today, the 6th of March, I logged on to takelot.com to track my order. Great stuff. It will be delivered tomorrow, 7 March. The excitement was short lived as my eye caught the words "order cancelled" on the power supply. So here's the thing... Why cancel on the last day before delivery? And what the hell must I do with a controller on a dead Xbox??? Surely they could have informed me of this earlier and knowing there is a couple of places selling the power supplies as well, I would have gladly paid in the difference should it have come to that. And they must not tell me there is no stock, because there was (according to the ad where I placed my order). I won't hassle the delivery team about this as this is out of their control. What I do want however, is for someone from takealot.com to phone me so that THEY can explain to my 5 year old why they are making him wait so long to play a ****** game. Lucky for my the order is COD, so I will have the delivery team take the controller back and then I will get in my car and drive the 200 kilometers it will take met to get a controller and power supply myself, because I will not disappoint my son as takealot.com just did.
