Takealot not honoring supplier warranty

I purchased a robot vacuum and mop from Takealot. The box clearly states that the item has a 2 year warranty from the supplier. The vacuum is not working now and I want to return it for replacement or repairs, but Takealot advised that they will not assist as they only gave it a 1 year warranty. It is unacceptable that Takealot will not honor the supplier's 2 year warranty agreement.
