Takealot: Non-delivery & No Refund After 30+ Days (R3,169)

I placed an online order with Takealot for special offers to the value of R3,169. More than a month has passed, and I have neither received my order nor been refunded.

I have made repeated attempts to resolve this matter by email and have supp**** all requested information, including order details and supporting photos. The only response I have received is that the issue has been “escalated”, with no follow-up, resolution, or time frame provided.

This situation has resulted in a direct financial loss, which is unacceptable, especially as a long-standing, loyal customer. The lack of communication and failure to deliver goods or issue a refund raises serious concerns regarding compliance with consumer protection laws.
