Takealot my money but no product.

We bought a gift for Christmas in November, which was wrapped in the original packaging. When the gift was opened the product was damaged. When we returned the product, the informed us that we took too long to return it. It was a gift which was opened on Christmas. We did not remove it from its original packaging as that would have ruined the gift.
