Takealot - minus 5 stars if I could

If there was a zero star option on Hellopeter I would have given it to Takealot.com Poor service at its worst.

First I buy a Fitbit from them. Box looks intact and all. Then it got opened Christmas day. The inside of the box was wet and smelled of mould. Who would use a watch that is not waterproof and got wet?

Their excuse? Because damaged packaging warranty is 7 days, the watch cannot be returned.

So the outside of the box looks fine. The inside of the box is wet. One would never know until it was opened. I'm sure this does not fall under packaging.

And no one seems to care from Takealots customer service. Even technical team declined it. Why? Because of water damage that Takealot caused.

No help. No answers. No return. No exchange. Just sent back and forth between one admin to the next....
