Takealot mess up!

On 12 November 2021 I ordered a Caribbean starter spray tan kit. On deliver of my package I noticed that the tent was missing so I immediately contacted takealot to inform them. They insisted I send the while kit back so that they could investigate. As of today they are saying that the kit is out of stock and they would like to refund my takealot account. I do not understand why they cannot send me the machine that I had in my possession and just send me the tent that was missing!? If they don't have the tent in stock they can always send it at a later stage. I am relying on this machine to make an extra income and they have not set me back 3 weeks.
