Takealot making money on interest of unpaid refunds!

Pity you don't have a no star rating. The stories about Takealot being in financial difficulty seem to have a ring of truth. I had to return a defective sewing machine for the second time (clearly now selling substandard goods). On 19 August 2024 I got an email advising that the refund had been processed and would reflect in our bank account in 3 - 5 days. The refund didn't come through then the fun started and here we are 16 days later and we have not yet received the refund. Imagine how much money Takealot is making in interest by not refunding customers timeously. I'm going to be giving Amazon a try after this debacle.
