Takealot makes you waitalot. I will never do business with these people again and I hope you don't too.

There are many choices one can make when doing online shopping and takealot.com is NOT one you want to do business with. They are absolutely pathetic, *********** bunch. I placed 3 orders with express delivery to the value of an additional R95 on each to receive goods the next day and all 3 times they did not deliver on time. I got no sms, I contacted headoffice they said they will escalate and call me back no one called me back. I said on one order they must do a refund, they came with some excuse can't refund because of a voucher, then I said I want to pick the order up at the branch as it took 2 days which they kept us waiting. They said they made a plan and I can collect. I went to the address they said I must collect and they cancelled the order so could not collect. I placed a order for collection was advised next day after I called that order was available and can collect before 6:00pm. Was at the warehouse and was closed even though website says 6:00pm as well. What I can say the email correspondence does say closes at 12:30 on the weekend, however how come the thing on the other end of the phone didn't know that. Hopefully get my order and have nothing to ever do with these people again. Rather go to bid or buy, loot all the ones I haven't had any problems with. Use my advise don't use it the choice is yours, but I can certainly will not. Spend your money on other sites. @takealot word of advise if you can't commit to delivery times just rather don't give options. Stick to shipping 5 to 7 working days for everything then at least we will know where we stand. To the public if you see stock available, know you will receive your goods 4 days later
