Takealot makes customers wait and wait and wait

I placed my order of over R1000 on 16 November to avoid the Christmas rush. However, one item is holding the whole order back until 11 December (If I am lucky - it could be later) which is highly inconvenient. After several communications, Takealot has no solution as yet. Four weeks for an order of items that are all nothing extraordinary, just normal goods. I predict this order will not get caught up in the Christmas frenzy and I may have to stress that it will be too late or delivery will interfere with holiday planning. In many years this never happened with Kalahari, but this is the second time a Takealot order causes chaos at Christmas for me. Phone calls have had no effect, I prefer email janmconradie at gmail dot com.
