Takealot make good on refund after software was found with expired Key

So, update on my experience that was initially not at all favorable. I purchased windows 10 professional from them and when I installed it, it was found that the key provided had expired. I returned the package only to be told that it would not be refunded because the seal had been broken and the software opened. Anyway, to cut long story short I called there call center and was told that the returns policy states that software will not be refunded if opened. Even after proving that the key was not valid by the error and getting MS online help to verify that it was indeed not valid, they still would not budge. I requested this to be escalated to a manager. A manager phoned and after reviewing my case I did get a credit to my account.

So good on you Takealot for making good on the deal. But you need to update you returns policy, because software cannot be tested unless its opened and installed
