Takealot keeps money & items!

Let me just start off by saying I NEVER write a bad review and especially when I have always had good service, but my last experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth with Takealot. I ordered x2 items, x2 items were delivered. I had opened the items and tested them only to discover that the items did not work as described and this did not meet my expectations. I then logged a return only to have the return rejected because I apparently used the incorrect category for the return which was “items do not meet my expectations” and was told to that I had to have the items returned and reschedule a return under the correct category. After email and email and phone call after phone call for a week long the one item was returned. It has now been 3 weeks I am still waiting for a response and for my second item to be returned. When I called again I was told it was logged as that the item does not need to be returned to me, so Takealot has now got my money and my item and no one can assist me in getting either of them back.
