Takealot - Just TAKES and doesnt DELIVER!!!!!!

Takealot's communication, or the people that work there are not s****ed to do their job..

Let me first of all say Iv placed orders through Takealot before and never had problems.

I placed a order on 26th June for delivery at my house. The delivery instructions are very clear. Anyone can find it! But because all companies these days do half ass'ed jobs my order was now sent back because a driver was to lazy to make a phone call at my gate asking me to come collect my order. Instead he probably just sat there for 2 min waiting for a miracle that Id would magically appear in his view and then drove off when nobody arrived... How can you send a driver and then not call me when hes at the gate? How am i supposed to know he is there?

I then tried to call Takealot and i was on hold for 40 MINUTES!!!!! And i still didnt get through.. So if the driver doesnt call me and i cant get hold of Takealot HOW DO I GET MY ORDER?????????? You just send it back without even calling me! on the reschedule delivery it says "We will contact you to verify your address", well no one called me. I sent a email to say please can this delivery be done my address is correct, then i get a email which tells me my delivery details are insufficient and my account will be credited and i must re-order.. This is actually so pathetic!

I had my cheque card delivered to me and the driver actually called me to say he was waiting for me. So why now on my other order i get no phone call? I still havnt gotten a call to ask confirmation of my address......?

WAKE UP!! Your drivers dont give a dam and you are actually wasting your money paying them.. Have some flippin pride in your job and make a effort for your customer!!!!!!!!

Now i have to place ANOTHER order and have it delivered AGAIN to my house. Maybe il just pitch a freaking tent outside and wait for the driver to arrive seeing as thats the only way im going to get my delivery..
