takealot is the worst company ever

I purchased a vacuum the week before last and it overheated after first use I then returned it and opted for a replacement one which came and after only half an hour it overheated and I logged a return where I opted for a refund it's now been a full week and they have collected the vacuum but have not given my money back at all I've called multiple times and every time I call they say they are escalating it to the warehouse manager which doesn't help I've now taken the matter further and reported them to the ombudsman and I have also threatened to call the police for theft because they are *****ing from me but none of them at takealot seem to care at all. all they do is ****ing escalate it when escalating does absolutely nothing they have also been telling me that not all items have been returned when I've returned EVERYTHING I am extremely angry and ****ed off they are completely *********** and useless
