Takealot is the worst.

I would give zero stars if I could for their delivery service. Without notice, they changed their delivery structure in the Eastern Cape, making it impossible to receive your order. Instead of sending Grahamstown deliveries to the Grahamstown depot, it now stops in Port Elizabeth and gets sent from there, taking the scenic route via the coastal towns of Alexandria, Bushmans, Kenton, Port Alfred before it is meant to get to Grahamstown. Which is impossible to achieve in one working day. Clearly Takealot has no idea of the distance between these places, nor the travel time, nor do they care. There is no way of even speaking with the delivery company to request delivery by the time one's office closes, as not all offices close at 5pm. When you eventually get hold of their service centre, they can actually not do anything other than tell you where the driver is and how many deliveries are still left, which serves no purpose. I've spoken to four different operators, all promising to get the message to the delivery company, none of which materialised. This is the worst experience I've ever had. Takealot does not even care. They have their money, why do they care about actually delivering to the client. Don't use them.
