Takealot is overwhelmed and can’t deliver

Place my order on 18 Nov, intentionally ahead of Black Friday to avoid being caught in the rush. Takealot has demonstrated to me that they don’t care. Today is 11 December and I am still waiting on an order that has not left the warehouse. I have followed up with them twice and each time they tell me it’s because an item is out of stock. I have told them to cancel the item and continue with sending the other items. Each time a new delivery date is given but nothing has made it out of the warehouse. It can’t be that I have told wait A MONTH for items I can get from Amazon or walk into a store and purchase. I am at my wits end truly. And to top it all, they won’t refund the money for the cancelled items but instead have given me a takealot credit - I will probably receive the items this time next year if I purchase something now it’s that credit. I have tried to be patient and understanding and this is exactly why it took me so long to come on here, but I feel like my emails are falling on deaf ears and yielding empty promises at this point.
