Takealot is a huge disappointment!!!

Hugely disappointed in Takealot. Bought laptop from them that came with bag and cordless mouse. Laptop was a few rands short of R9000,00. Computer input plug for cordless mouse was not in packaging.

I asked if I can get just the plug sent to me or another mouse altogether and I’ll send the previous one back with the item I was returning anyways.

Also explained that I have another delivery coming from them so they could put it in there.

Takealot refused. They insisted I sent the entire package back, even after I explained that I cannot do this as I use the laptop for work.

Meanwhile I will much rather continue ordering my online items from Loot and thank goodness Amazon is coming to South Africa, because this level of poor customer service is pathetic and completely unacceptable!!!

Previously, Takealot kept on telling me that a Himalayan rock salt lamp I ordered from them was coming, only to cancel a few weeks later and refund my money, with an email that informed me but didn’t even as a courtesy apologize.

I can honestly declare that I am done with Takealot.
