Takealot is a bunch of ******* with terrible service if none at all
We purchased a printer from Takealot end of December. We received it in January. We only started using the printer mid January. The printer only worked for two weeks. We called Takealot to check what is the refund policy. They asked us to take the printer to Canon/Part serve in Umhlanga. We handed in the printer they checked the printer and let us know that it could not be fixed they the. Sent us a credit note to email Takealot. We emailed Takealot they mentioned it’s not a credit notes. After being on the phone with Canon/Part serve they said that is the credit note Takealot has to accept it. We have made numerous calls to takealot to try and get our money back, these calls cost us up to R100 at a time we made over ten calls to Takealot also who will reimburse us for this. Everytime we call it’s either the staff don’t know what we talking about or mentioned it’s been escalated. We asked to speak to a manager they say the manager is not available they work from home. I would like to know which manager is able to manage staff working from home, maybe this is the reason as to why Takealot staff so so *********** or of no help. I received one called from Takealot only because I sent them a bad review on their site. I asked the lady is she going to sort out the issue she said no I can’t help you…. My question is why call. This issue has not been resolved, Takealot still has my money R2900, they refuse to sort the issue out and refund my money. As yet no manager has called me. It looks like Takealot is a bunch of ******* taking customers money and not replacing the item or refunding the money. Terrible I can’t even say the service was terrible as there is no service these people look like they answers calls only because they are bored not to assist customers.
