TAKEALOT IS A ****!

After receiving a broken vacuum cleaner in December, it was returned and a credit was issued virtually immediately. I then used the credit and ordered another vacuum as it could not be replaced (no stock). This was done on 28 January. I ordered a 2200w vacuum cleaner. I was first informed that it could be collected on 28 January. On 28 January the collection date was moved to 2 February and thereafter to 16 February. On 14 February I was informed that I could collect the order. Upon collection, I opened the parcel at the depot in front of the attendant and found that it was the wrong vacuum cleaner (a 150w) vacuum cleaner. I lodged a return immediately and it was accepted immediately. When I enquired about my refund, I was told that the warehouse first had to validate my return. On 17 February I was told a refund was done and it would take between 3 and 5 days TO REFLECT in my bank account. It is now day 5 and NOTHING!!! Never again will I order anything from Takealot.
