Takealot insists on crediting a refund via a voucher and not to my credit card

I bought a set of mixing bowls and returned it as it did not seal well. Takealot issued a voucher. I asked for the funds to be credited to my credit card as that is how I paid. The consultant insisted that they have to issue a voucher since I used one of their promotions i.e buy for a R1000 and get R200 off as an example. I think this is ridculous as a client should receive a refund as they desire and not be dictated to by the company. I know that they want me to use the voucher to buy again but after that service, who would want to purchase again. Also, I am a Takalot more subscriber so why would i pay a subscription fee in future to utilise takealot
