Takealot *****ing same day delivery fees and *****ing customers

I am sad to say that I have lost my faith and hope in Takealot as their service has been drowning and dying a slow death. The days of excellent service and same day delivery are a thing of the past. I ordered a product and paid the R95 rand delivery for same day delivery as opposed to the R75 for next day and I waited the entire day to only get a message that the “recipient wasn’t available to take delivery, so we’ll reschedule”. If you can lie then you can ***** and that is what Takealot has done by *****ing R95 promised same delivery fee. There was no hoot at the gate or phone call nothing and there were three of us at home the entire day. The delivery vans are overloaded and the private people doing deliveries have a car with so many packages it would take them months to deliver them all, but once again greed takes the toll not customer service. I suppose trying to get my delivery money back will be a joke and probably a nightmare so enjoy the R95 Takealot. Not sure I’ll be ordering from you very soon.
