Takealot inept client service

I ordered a COD item from Takealot.com and when informed that my delivery was due to take place I paid them via eft - which I had done numerous times before. This time when the driver came to deliver the item it was stated that my proof of payment was not good enough and that I had to pay cash. So I sent them away with the parcels and told them to return when they have the go ahead to deliver the parcels as they had been paid for. The next day they tried to deliver again and again wanted cash as the item showed unpaid. Again the parcels were taken back and two days later the parcels were scheduled for delivery so I sent the courier a sms to not deliver if the issue had not been resolved. When the driver got here he again wanted cash and I even showed him that the payment reflected on my takealot account. He phoned his office and I even spoke to his supervisor and it remains unresolved. The parcels have been returned to Takealot and I will never be using them again. I cannot stand this ineptitude and disgusting client service.
