Takealot increasing prices to discount later in the month.

I was regularly buying from Takealot. Sometimes the same items again and again. An item that I always buy, went up from R250 to R270 but I know that prices have increased generally, so bought it again at R270. Now a short time from Black Friday I see that item is now R300. I will definitely not be sucked into buying it, when they probably drop the price(?) on Black Friday with maybe a 10% discount. Take care and shop around people, for retailers that are increasing their prices now to make you believe you are getting a discount later. I have noticed it on other items as well.
