Takealot holds on to my money

I purchased an item from Takealot, which I only realised needed a European to RSA adaptor, once I’d opened the box. After checking whether Takealot maybe had what I needed,but not finding the suitable adaptor, I checked local stores where I live, and I also wasted fuel driving a 34km round trip to Arbour Galeria, Amanzimtoti, where neither Builders Express, nor any other store could sell me the adaptor I needed? I thus had no option but to apply for a refund, but was however informed via email, that Capitec Bank had refused to accept a refund back to my account, and that my funds would now remain in my Takealot account? What utter nonsense, kindly refund the mones forthwith to the account that I paid with, the details of which I’ve once again divulged via email!
