Takealot holding items hostage!!!

Takealot is literally holding me to ransom! Disgusting service.

I live in Zambia, and routinely have takealot items couriered to Zambia via 3rd party courier. This obviously comes at a big cost over and above the cost of the goods.

In a recent order, I was incorrectly sent two HB pencils(!) and had three items missing from my order amounting to almost R1000 in value.

Takealot is REFUSING to honor my purchase, and refusing to send me my missing goods, until I have returned the pencils. Now, given that I am in Zambia, I will have to pay international courier fees to send the pencils back. (Bearing in mind that I have already paid to get them sent here, in takealots ludicrously big boxes used for small items). So I am in effect paying international courier fees twice to fix takealots stuff up.

I am happy to return the pencils, I have no need for the damn things, but I do not believe I should have to incur these costs. At the very least, takealot should be offering to reimburse me for the expense.

As for the fact that they refuse to send me my goods until the return has happened amounts to daylight *******.
