Takealot have ****** my device and wont return it!

I logged a return for a faulty sim ejection mechanism on a tablet and it was collected but my return was rejected with a very badly worded response from Teffo.M (takealot.com) on Feb 11, 2023, 15:44 GMT+2. stating the following: "Please note that we have rejected your return request due to the following reason/s: NB..No faulty have bein recoverd from the device Takealot warranty of change of mind is less than 30 days after delivary took place"

Is this a profession response despite me asking beforehand if the item can be repaired or replaced within the 12 month warrantee?? Since 11/02 I have sent numerous emails requesting feedback on when my item will be returned but nobody bothers to get back to me and are holding my electronic device hostage. This is the absolute worst service received or should I rather say no service. Takealot are hiding and they have now effectively ****** my device by not returning it. Not a single pathetic soul is willing to return any of my email requests. Takealot are to big for their shoes and frankly their attitude stinks!!!!!

I spend thousands of rands at takealot and this is how they treat a customer??? Unacceptable. Goodby takealot, I hope the competition takes you out and breaks your monopoly. This is consumer bullying and I will not hesitate to open a case of theft and report it to the National Consumer Commission.
