Takealot has negligent driver

Takealot has irresponsible drivers.

In June this year my car was parked outside my house. It was a Friday and we were relaxing after a long week. We got a knock on our door by the driver to say she reversed into my car. We went to the police station to open a case and according to her it was during working hours and therefore needed to be fixed by the company because they have to respond to requests immediately on their phones or they will lose out on jobs. So she sent all the necessary paper work to her manager, but the manager changed so many times the issue has never been dealt with.

Why she didn’t stop the car before responding is beyond me. We live in a complex where children run around freely because it’s usually safe to do so. What if she drove into a child because she was being negligent? It makes me angry because she shouldn’t even be on her phone while driving.

I’m very disappointed because I am the victim yet I’m the one who’s been constantly messaging emailing trying to call to the office but the numbers never answered, to find out if there’s any progress with the issue. It’s been 5 MONTHS! Why do I have to stoop to this level to get someone to fix the dent in my car?!
