TAKEALOT HAPPY TO TAKE YOUR MONEY & NOT SEND GOODS

on 5th of February I order a textbook for R634.00 from Takealot. It was debited from my credit card. At that time it was made clear to me that there was stock of the book and that it would arrive on on or before 18 February. On the 19th of February when my order had still not arrived, I went onto [URL Removed] to check and lo and behold I see my order has been cancelled. Nothing has been communicated to me. So I phone the call centre on Friday 19 Feb and speak to an agent (woman, can't remember her name) to ask her what is going on as I never cancelled this order. She told me I was sent an email which I clearly never received. She then goes on to tell me that she doesnt know what happened but will contact me and let me know. Come today (Monday 22 Feb) AGAIN NO CONTACT FROM TAKEALOT. So I phone them again. They tell me they have no stock of a textbook I PAID FOR AND THAT THEY HAD STOCK OF AT THE TIME!! Janice the \Team leader\" said she would call me back when she knows what's happening. This is beyond shocking as I am R634 down AND NO TEXT BOOK! They offered me a credit to their store but that does help me at all. APPALLING!! SEND ME MY TEXTBOOK!!!"
