Takealot guarantees is useless

i bought Huawei earbuds last year and it stated 1 year warranty and now it does not charge, it took them longer then a month to collect it and review it, and i still do not have it back and not they come back from they supplier saying it is out of the 6 month warranty on accessories, but it is not an accessory the charger doesn't charge the earbud, so it is clearly faulty, waste of time and also cheating people, i will not shop there ever again.
