Takealot grey TVs

I bought a TV from Takealot, on the 7 month it failed to work. I sent it back o them, they gave me the run around about their 6 months warranty. What I don't understand is, the manufacturer gives a 1 year warranty and takealot being my supplier, should have pursued this with manufacturer or where they bought this tv from. They were just stubborn and did not want to entertain me. I do not recommend buying a tv from Takealot. These guys are not helpful.
