TAKEalot for a Ride.....

False Advertising I logged on the the app to purchase a Binoculars advertised at R3499 on promotion.

I added the item to my cart and then they would not take my EBucks for this item although it clearly states on the add that they would. So whilst I struggle to pay they changed the price to R4999. I removed the item in my cart hoping to add the R3499 one again and it was no longer advertised at the price seeing that they realised I am already hooked. I realised that they track my IP address, so I went to work an hour later and logged in with a co-workers details just to find that the item was still advertised at R3499. Once again when we tried to purchase it, they changed the price again to R4999. I have taken a snapshot of this irregular advertising behaviour. I used to have great respect for Takealot, but I did not realise that Takealot has become a "State Owned Enterprise" and now taking South Africans to the cleaners like our Ruling party.
